We at Kanon Produksjon are delighted to have been awarded a grant and a residence stay at Kristiansand Art Museum, called Bjørneboet, which will take place in Kristiansand in week 50. Here, research and writing will be done on Kanon Produksjon’s first original theatre script, with the working title DET HELDIGE SKIPET, which translates to THE LUCKY SHIP.

GJENKLANG is an audio-guided Christmas story that takes you on a walk through Kristiansand, which ultimately ends up in the heart of the city center. By taking advantage of the technological possibilities and turning the limitations of the Covid-19 situation into something positive, our aim is to stimulate and perhaps challenge the individual imagination.

The year 2020 did unfortunately not turn out as we had planned or envisioned. For a young theatre company with great ambitions, it’s been a demanding few months filled with great uncertainty. Thanks to enormous help from colleagues, cultural initiatives, and alternative solutions, we are happy to release another performance for the audience in the south!
