Script writer and consultent
Kristian has a background as a musician and theater director. He made his debut with Bad Boy Bubby at Agder Theater in 2006. He also worked as a playwright at Vardeteatret, and was one of the creators behind the project Maskefall. He is educated at Oslo University College (Drama and Theater Communication), the University of Agder (Children’s Theater Art), and at the Norwegian Film School, where he was, from 2015-17, part of the first batch of the master’s program in screenwriting. His exam film as a screenwriter, When I Fall, was nominated for the Amanda Award 2019 in the categories directing, best male lead, best female supporting role, and music. As a director, Landmark has made a number of short and documentary films, including With the Right to Capture, The Black Death, and Free Fall, all of which were shown on NRK. Not to mention the film Tønes, which also had the honor of being the closing film at the film festival in Haugesund 2019. Landmark has together with Ole Bernt Tellefsen published the children’s books 7 at Cappelen Damm. As a screenwriter, Landmark is currently involved in the development of several feature films and TV series, including in collaboration with Morten Tyldum’s company Einar Film.
For Kanon Produksjon, Kristian has written the script for GJENKLANG, been director and playwright consultant for SCREAMS OF A BIRD…, as well as being the script consultant on the new stage text THE LUCKY SHIP, which will premiere in 2022.
